Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2014 will be conducted by CBSE for admissions in undergraduate engineering courses in IITs and NITs with other state government engineering colleges included in it.
IIT JEE and AIEEE exams combined to form JEE which is being held from the previous year 2013. The decision was taken by CBSE to form a single examination which would be conducted in two phases i.e. JEE Main and JEE Advanced. For a student to appear in the JEE Advanced exam he must qualify JEE Main and by only getting his rank in the merit list of JEE Main he could be eligible for the next phase.
Candidates seeking admission in the government aided institutes in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Odisha must also fill the form of JEE Main 2014 as these states have agreed to the JEE Main system.
JEE 2014 Online Application form Submission Date
Candidates would have to apply for JEE 2014 registrations process through online from the official website of JEE Main i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in. The online registration for the JEE 2014 Main exams will be started from 15th November 2013 onwards.
The last date for submission of the online application form will be 26th December 2013. There is more than a month time to fill the application form so students must judge accordingly with the eligibility criteria that whether they are eligible or not.
Procedure for Filling JEE 2014 Online Application Form
JEE 2014 online application form will be available in online format on the official website of JEE Main from 15th November 2013. Candidate must log in to the official website i.e. jeemain.nic.in and fill the JEE Mains 2014 online application form.
Note down the registration number generated by the system. You will get a confirmation page after the payment of fees, take out its print out. Paste a photograph on the confirmation page and send it to the CBSE head Office Delhi with DD registered or speed post. All of the process must be completed up to 26th December 2013 (last date of submission).
