Common Proficiency Test (CPT) 2013 was conducted on 15th December 2013 for the aspiring candidates in commerce field who wish to pursue higher level course in Chartered Accountancy.
CPT is a national level entrance examination conducted twice in a year, once in June and in December. The exam is conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for Chartered Accountancy course.

CPT 2013 Results Notification
It has been notified that the results for CPT 2013 will be declared on 15th January 2014. Students must wait until the date to get their status on result list. The result will be uploaded on the official website on the given date from where students can download their result status. Candidates can check their result on www.caresults.nic.in from 15th Jan 2014 where they have to submit their registration number to check their result status.
CPT 2013 Answer Key
The exam has been already conducted and students might feel the need for answer key of the question paper they got in the exam for their self-evaluation regarding the numbers to be secured in the final result.
The exact answer key is expected to be uploaded on the official website in few days. Answer key will be provided here as soon as it is declared officially by the authority in charge of the examination. Till then candidates may check other websites for answer key CPT 2013.

CPT Dec 2013 Merit List
In the result to be declared a merit list will be issued by ICAI based on which students will be selected or rejected. Candidates getting their rank in the merit list will be considered eligible to sought higher education in the Chartered Accountancy Course and will be enrolled for the session to be started in 2014.
On an average to get selected in the exam a candidate must secure at least 100 marks out of the total 200 marks. It means that to secure 100 out of 200 you’ll have to score 50% in aggregate and 30% in each subject.
