Candidates here are informed that CBSE is going to adopt new formats and techniques for 10th Board exam which is scheduled to be conducted from the first week of March 2014. CBSE 10th Board 2013-14 exam will be started with written paper of every subjects for which grading system will be applied as evaluation system process.
It is obvious for a student to get a little bit nervous if he/she is appearing for the exam for the first time. To help the student get out of it we are ready to provide all of the basic and necessary information about the CBSE 10th board exams.

Below we have provided paper pattern for 2013-14 session. All paper of CBSE 10th Board will be prepared according to below provided pattern. CBSE 10th board Paper pattern 2014
The question paper will consist of mainly three parts. Those would be
Very Short answer (VSA) type questions
Short answer (SA) type questions
Long answer (LA) type questions
There will be two parts in VSA type questions. In the first part there will be multiple choice questions whereas in the second part there will be objective type questions which will have straight answers of one or two lines. These questions will be carry 1 or 2 marks for respective parts.
Now comes the second part of question paper i.e. SA type questions. This part of the paper consist of subjective questions which would have answers of at least 5 lines. Student will have to elaborate the answer a little to expect full marks in the question. Questions will carry numbers up to 3 marks.
The last part consists of LA type questions. This part too has subjective questions which are needed to be explained in detail keeping in mind the weightage of the question. The questions in this part demands explanation and student will have to answer accordingly. Questions will carry 4 to 5 marks depending on the latest pattern.
Note: Word Limit play a major role in securing better marks. So, try not to exceed too much your word limits. Try to answer in limit with acceptable number of words. It will also a trick to put nice impression on examiner.
CBSE 10th Board Exam Giving Strategy
The percentage of a candidate hugely depends on the strategy which he adopts in answering the question paper.
According to experts students must start answering the paper from back side i.e. the part which contains the maximum numbers must be answered first and accordingly the others. Because the questions carrying high marks are lengthy but straight forward and simple and the questions in the second part of the paper are slightly twisted and needs some logic in answering.
